Senior Associate, Senior Energy Analyst and Mechanical Engineer
Kristen Baker is a leading member of GOCO’s energy engineering team. As a Senior Associate and Senior Energy Analyst/Mechanical Engineer, her responsibilities include providing support to clients on energy initiatives, project implementation, and long-term capital planning. She manages energy-related projects including audits, retro-commissioning, electrification, and decarbonization studies. Additionally, she is an expert on New York City’s local laws, incentive opportunities, and Energy Star applications.
Ms. Baker’s recent project management highlights include: bringing approximately 200 commercial and institutional properties into compliance with NYC’s Local Law 97; advancing electrification of Columbia University’s residential undergraduate housing portfolio (totaling ~150 buildings); and serving as on-site energy manager for SL Green, one of the largest property owners in Greater New York City, through an initiative of NYSERDA.
