The 192-bed facility is a state of the art “green” facility: environmentally friendly and energy efficient. All utility systems connect to the existing campus distribution systems.

We designed MEP systems to serve the new six-story, 300,000 SF, 192-bed Women’ and Children’ Pavilion and the associated new chiller plant.

The Pavilion houses the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’ Hospital and The Donna A. Sanzari Women’ Hospital. The Children’ Hospital contains the pediatrics unit, pediatric intensive care nursery, and the neonatal intensive care nursery (NICU) for newborns needing specialized care.

The Women’ Hospital is comprised of 14 private labor, delivery, and recovery (LDR) rooms.
