GOCO provides ongoing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services in the Empire State Building.

Built in 1931, this landmarked building has 102 floors, including 78 office floors, comprising a total area of 2.9M SF.

State Grill & Bar
GOCO was engaged to design the MEP systems for the State Grill & Bar, an upscale, Art Deco dining destination within the Empire State Building. The restaurant encompasses a 2,800 square foot main dining and lounge area at street level, as well as an additional 6,400 square foot lower level featuring three private event spaces.

The complexity of managing two kitchens across separate floors posed significant HVAC design challenges including design for two separate air precipitators to clean and filter all kitchen odors. Our team’s innovative solutions ensured seamless operations, showcasing expertise in electrical and plumbing systems. This project stands as a testament to our capability in navigating intricate architectural demands with precision engineering.
