Empire State Building

The world-recognized National Register of Historic Places Empire State Building, completed in 1931, is the 5th-tallest skyscraper in the United States and the 28th-tallest in the world.

We provide ongoing MEP engineering services in this landmarked building. With 102 floors—78 of which are office floors—the building has a total area of 2,917,400 SF.

Design projects to date include many tenant space interior fitouts throughout the building, energy improvements and a major restaurant and fitness center on the concourse level. We also participated in an award for the restoration of the landmarked lobby.

Infrastructure projects include a range of electrical upgrades and consulting for various energy conservation measures. Specialty fire protection systems have been designed for sensitive broadcast areas.
