This 12-story, 263-unit affordable housing project is funded by Common Ground Community (now called Breaking Ground), a not-for-profit organization.

The organization achieves its mission—to solve homelessness—by raising money to fund the development of low-to-moderate income housing complexes.

The design for this apartment building incorporates LEED criteria to make it the first truly sustainable affordable housing building in Manhattan.
