In 2005, Vornado started a creative redevelopment of this boutique wedding-cake-style building across from Rockefeller Center.

Our MEP design for this project required the addition of two new floors and the renovation of eight existing floors. The top ten floors also received a new exterior glass shell. The work involved HVAC systems, electrical distribution, normal and emergency power supply, fire alarm system, plumbing systems, and fire protection.

We integrated all the new systems into the existing ones. The lower floors remained occupied during the work so existing systems had to remain in service without interruption during construction.
