Senior Engineers – HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing
The ideal candidates will have proven engineering ability, client liaison experience and a strong interest in career growth. Work will include feasibility studies and condition surveys, detailed design, and technical assistance during the construction phase of projects ranging from high rise commercial properties to hospitals, schools, colleges, theater complexes,transportation facilities and historic renovation projects.
Minimum requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- At least 8 years experience in engineering in commercial/institutional buildings, preferably in NYC
- Knowledge of NYC and NYS building and energy codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and ability to work unsupervised

Energy Engineer
We are looking for an experienced energy engineer to join our energy services team. The ideal candidate is an HVAC design engineer with professional interest and extensive experience in energy efficiency, green buildings, and sustainability in commercial buildings; and with proven expertise in analysis of building energy systems for efficiency, energy modeling, energy codes and standards for commercial buildings.
Minimum requirements:
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5-8 years HVAC design experience including at least 3 years experience in energy efficiency, green buildings and sustainability in commercial buildings, preferably in NYC
- Experience in building energy management, performing energy audits or building commissioning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise with client
- Proven expertise in spreadsheet development and calculations
- Initiative and ability to work unsupervised
Additional preferred attributes:
- PE, LEED AP, or CEM accreditation
- Experience with LEED consulting or evaluation
- Understanding of the ENERGY STAR performance rating system
- Familiarity with NYSERDA incentive Programs
- Knowledge of building modeling and experience using DOE2 based simulation software, such as eQUEST
