Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems design for the Hegeman Residence.  The building will have approximately 161 affordable studio apartments.  The state-of-the-art building is aiming for a LEED Silver rating. Its sustainable design elements will include a green roof, lighting and motion sensors, a building management system, storm water irrigation, and condensing boilers. Amenities will include a 24/7 attended lobby, a computer room, an exercise room, a laundry room and a garden for use by neighborhood residents.
